More Bats

Project by Bob A in NJ posted 73 days ago 310 views 0 times favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

2 more bats. The big one is a cherry lamination about 32” long. The small one is padauk and 12”. Just experimenting with shapes and sizes. These are lots of fun to make. The second picture is the collection so far.

Bob: a great big set of little bats. Nice job. So what are you going to turn this new found skill into. A bat shaped hollow form, a candy bowl, a salt and pepper shaker.

Lots of possibilities.

Great group of turnings. Love all the size nad wood/color choices.

One more design idea…...I did a pair of ceiling fan chain pulls, a Bowling Pin and Ball. You might want to try a Bat and Ball. I will probably do a set of those too soon. (I have a sports nut for a neighbor, He likes them)

Keep up the great work.
