Was given this wood from a pallet. The pallet came from a shipping container from Malaysia. The wood is very hard. Anyone have any idea on what kind of wood it is.

Can’t help you with the wood Joe, but nice looking anyway. I always heard of Teak and Mahogany in pallets from other places, never came across any myself.

Hey, I think you lucked up on some of that rare Freckled Malaysian Mongo wood! Wow, Zuckerburg must have pulled your name from the hat in his lottery and you won! Of course it’s too bad you weren’t one of the folks that got 4.5 MILLION dollars, but this wood is easily worth that anyway !.
WOO HOO !!...Truth is, I obviously haven’t a clue what the wood is, but I do agree that what you did with it came out pretty danged NICE ! The grain pattern is beautiful
