Son received new tank for his growing turtle. Needed a top to place the UV and heat lamps, so I thought, lattice would be easy. Adding a short Alu bar stock For any heat issues.

No so much. Turns out that thinking before working is a good idea. I cut a bunch of 1/4 in wide strips from a popular board, built a quick jig, then made way more that enough parts to build it from. Turns out, you need way, way more parts than you think. Reset the jig 3 times before I finished.
