Rustic Pine - Built-In Cabinet

Project by SandyK posted 73 days ago 402 views 0 times favorited 10 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I am just going to post a few of my past projects so that people don’t think I’m all talk and no show. I build this cabinet a few years back for my boyfriend’s lake cabin. I measured the opening perfect, and it set right into the little nook under the window. It is made out of cheap pine and half-sawn branches. I didn’t put a back or sides on it because it was going to be permanently attached to the wall. On the back I wood-burned some pine bows and cones, and varnished the whole thing.

So far, I’ve loved all of your projects! A variety of items but all with that rustic yet well crafted look. Amazing. Thanks for sharing.
