Oak spine shelf

This is the replacement for a shelf we have bought about seven years ago – after all these years, the MDF shelves started sagging.

This is a combination of read oak and walnut. The shelves are glued into slots dadoed in the spine board. Finish – boiled linseed oil then three layers of shellac.

Thank you Mitchell. It was easy weekend project once I’ve got the properly sized lumber.
