A quick project I did just before Christmas fro an Arts & Crafts show that I was setting up a couple tables for. This Maple Serving Tray was made from an old piece of maple I had in the shop and a couple of pieces of hardware from a former kitche (got a box of these old parts in my woodshop for future projects).
Tray is 5.5”X 21.75”, about an inch thick and is coated with a food grade tung oil.

Nice tray, Joe. Sometimes you need a quick and easy project. Nothing wrong with that. Bet it didn’t come home from the show with you! Food safe tung oil? Tell me more, please. Thanks for sharing.

Ecactly…quick and easy. Use up some scrap material. And sell them off far a fair but less than the laminated ones i make. I ended up doing 4 of them. They were all gone in the first couple hours.

Sometimes quick and easy is cool. I can see how these would sell at the right price. Congratulations.
