One man’s trash is another’s treasure as the saying goes. A neighbor tossed these slats and all I could tell was that they were oak, no idea what they were from. For me they became an end table, a magazine rack, a chisel plane, a 1/4” wooden plane and a couple fo scraper handles, for me and Brother. Also a couple of new feather boards and the rails and cauls for a cutting board assembly jig. Thanks to mafe for the chisel plane (http://lumberjocks.com/mafe/blog/23524) and the 1/4” plane (http://lumberjocks.com/mafe/blog/54890) instructions. Unfortunately I can’t find a bookmark for the cutting board clamp fixture I copied so don’t know who to give credit to but I saw it on LJ and it’s really helping.
Thanks to all the rest of you Jocks for giving me ideas and howtos.
