A year ago I promised a box to my Ann. I finally completed it along with a smaller box for myself. I made these from scrap hardwood pieces in my lumber rack.

Nice boxes.I like the joinery for the tall box very much.

I really like the lid & the use of different width splines on the shorter box-nice detail.

If I make new boxes, I would not change the design of the splines. Meaning if I was going to make a spline within a spline like the one in the large box, I would do that design for all of the splines in the box. I would not mix them as I did here.
