Finger joint Step Stool

I made 2 units of finger joint step stool for my little daughter.

please check the attahced video, that shows the whole process:

the stools are made from a used beech solid shelf i found in the trash.
I’m using matthias wandel screw advance box joint jig, a very powerful and accurate jig. see all the information about that jig here:

Im using TBIII glue, and the finish is wood sealer and two coats of spray lacquer.
My saw is Hammer K3 sliding table saw.

Very nice job and for a good use i like your jig for the the hammer saw

Nice step stool, looks like she likes it.
if I had a scientific calculater I might be able to figure out how much glue surface you have. I can’t imagine that ever coming apart even with some jumping on it.

Lovely stool. The joint becomes quite a design feature. Nice. And a fine video as well.
