Bathroom Table in Black Walnut

This was a super simple project using two pieces of “live edge” black walnut and modern powder-coated hairpin legs. The lower shelf of the table literally hangs from giant 8” hardware store steel nails. I originally assembled the table without the lower shelf. But then I came across the perfect piece of wood to use for the lower shelf and, wanting to maintain the modern feel of the work, decided to hang the shelf using large steel nails that, although not powder coated the way the hairpin legs were, nevertheless maintain a modern style using wood and steel. The finish is just Teak oil.

I really like projects like this using live edge and modern touch. Great work!
