Here’s a dollhouse shaped bookshelf from a magazine plan. I used only 1/2” MDF. The plan called for 3/4” but I wanted to keep it a little lighter weight. I doubt it needs much strength anyway. I did goof up the roof. Somehow got the peek off center 1 inch. That made it difficult to fudge the rounded cut out and the pink trim. I think it took longer to paint than to build.

I imagine you have become very popular with a little girl. really great, you hid the bobo really well. Where was the plan you used to make this? I have two granddaughters that will like something like this real real soon. Great little Christmas gift ideas.

Thanks for sharing. I have to build a dollhouse for my grand-daughter for Xmas and I may use some ideas of yours. I particularly like the split-levels in the middle, and the footed base.
Best,
Serge

I like the idea of a duel purpose item. A doll house for a child and as she starts to grow up it is a bookshelf.
Very Nice!!!
