This is a pen that was ordered by a customer/co-worker of mine who also happens to be the president of the Ohio State Social Workers Alumni Club. They are honoring a professor who is retiring this coming weekend at a dinner and then a celebration before the big OSU-USC game where the pen will be presented.

Again I have to give a shout out to my buddy Jim15 from IAP who drove all the way from Cincinnati to deliver the blank to me today.

I was going to have it engraved with his initials, but after looking at it, I wonder if she may rather go for a wooden box engraved with something on it. I hate to ruin the beautiful look of the pen with initials.!

Standard CA finish and crappy picture again.

As a OSU School of Social Work alumni——I have to give you the thumbs up on this one. Looks great. I’d be interested to know which professor is retiring.

I’d go for the box with initials myself.

Go BUCKS!

Great Job. You are very tallented. But really, a pen of that magnitude should be reserved for a more worthy team…................GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice job. Kit looks good to. From Rockler, that would be a ‘Sierra’...but Rockler’s kit isn’t as fancy. Where’d ya get that…if you don’t mind me asking.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

The kit is from Woodcraft. It is their two-tone chrome and satin finish. It is the same kit as the elegant sierra from Berea Hardwoods.

I cannot remember the name of the professor, only that it started with a J.

No comment on the Tigers. :)
