This is just a small box that I finished a couple of months ago. I just wanted to try my hand at something new and it was fun to knock out a project in a short period of time. It is Cherry and Walnut with a couple of coats of danish oil and self-adhesive felt lining the inside. I have a couple of other small projects that I’ll post when I get the chance. Thanks for looking.

Nice box. The grain of the walnut top is very attractive.
Don’t forget to post your project the next time you try your hand at something new, again. It’s successfull.
Best,
Serge

Very nice. Haven’t tried one with the splines yet. Need to try it. Have a brisket cutter. BZ

Great box. Fantastic grain on that walnut lid and the splines pull the top and bottm together. Walnut and Cherry work VERY well together.
Great job on those mitered corners also.
Keep it up.

Nice wood combination for a nice box. Especially like the lid and the miter splines.
