My grandson wanted a plane for Christmas. I got two, 2×10’s out of lumber mill that shut down in the late twenties. The hardest pine I have ever cut, made up the body, the wings are birch-ply. The front wheels are training wheels. I don’t know how old but the wheels are rubber and the metal is sold, not like today’s stuff. The propeller is pine around some kind of engine bolt with threads on one side, a smooth shaft so the blades can spin, and internal threads on the other. The noise is a semi-truck lug nut cover. The last pic is me and my grandson with his new aviators.
Thanks for viewing.

The back wheel is a caster so he can steer.
