Rocking Duck

Project by taylodr posted 77 days ago 287 views 0 times favorited 7 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is a present I made my daughter for her first birthday. There was a plan in Wood magazine this month for a rocking horse, but that seemed too boyish to me, besides, Reli likes ducks.
I followed a lot of the plan (which is a first for me), but had to take a few design liberties. She seems to like it, so it is a success.
This is also the first time that I have used dyes. They work great. I will definitely use them for more project in the future.

That is so cool. Not that I want them anytime soon but I am going to add this one to my grandpa file for later in life.

Kool! I had one of those when I was a kid, but it was made to sit in instead of on and they called it a goose:-))
