My first cutting board...more to come!

I had a lot of fun with this project. Materials used were rock maple and purple heart, finished with mineral oil. Many thanks to the wood whisperer, I followed his instructions. This one will be going to my firehouse, most of my firsts are usually given away. But I need to make one for the wife. I bought enough bf of purple heart and maple to get about 2 more this size, but i may mix up one with walnut as well to see if I get a different pattern. As always I welcome all questions and comments. Also check out updated shop photos..

I noticed you didn’t router finger slots.
They are a pain in the neck anyway. LOL
