Thanks guys! The glue up was all “a**es and elbows” what with 56 mortises to glue and line up all at once! I use loose tenons, so that’s why there are so many mortises. Anyway the thing finally came together and hasn’t fallen apart yet….

Hope your Momappriciates the extreme difficulty you went to getting that allglued up. Looks great though, the result was obviously worth it! :D

No, sorry, no footboard. The piece is for a hospital bed that tilts up, bends, etc. so it is actually attached to the wall, not the bed. A footboard would not have had anything to attach it to, but would have looked better I think.
