Maple and Cherry Millennium Falcon Serving Tray

Made this for my son to give as a Christmas gift. A lot of burning in the Cherry which I should have sanded out….my bad.

I used Maple and Cherry for some nice contrast and of course, the Cherry will darken over time.
2 coats of Beeswax for the finish.

Fun project and I think I’ll be making more.

Hi Jim, I simply found a drawing of the Falcon on the internet and printed it off, 4 sheets to make the one picture for the size.
