The .308 pen upper barrel is turned from Purple Heart and the 30-06 pen upper barrel is Rosewood. For all you non-ammo experts, the longer of the two is the 30-06. The cartridge kits were bought from Little River Crafts. Excellent Kits.

Can you make one out of a 22 cartridge? They’d be for short letters. lol Great job on those pens. never saw a cartridge kit before. That is really cool.

These have got to be a hit at the rifle range! I’d like mine out of a 375 Holland & Holland round please! Even though I have an affinity to the 6PPC round, it would be a little stubby for this purpose-LOL. Great looking pens, job well done.
