At a show I did a few months back, a customer asked if I could take the Drunken Cutting Board idea and make a large clip Board. He is a manager of a restaurant and he wanted something large like legal size and wanted the ability to hold papers on the back. This is what materialized. Its 11×17 and 3/8 thick. Made from maple, walnut and the thin bands are Philippine mahogany. I first marked the locations of where I wanted the pins, used a centering jig to drill the holes, then to drill press to drill the 3/4 half recesses. I cut some 3/16 rod, sanded the end round and epoxied them into the holes. Sanded to 220 and finished with 2 coats of wipe on poly.

That looks like a winner.
Well done.
