Sadly, we’ll leave Hawaii next year but we’ll take this piece of furniture made of Koa with us to remind us of life in paradise…I need to give credit to the design that I shamelessly copied to Mark (thecraftsmanpath.com). The Asian influence is very prevelant here and combining his design with the Koa made perfect sense! Legs are mahoghany and the rest is Koa, construction is mortise and tenon, and finish is a light wiping of Danish Oil followed by multiple coats of wipe-on poly.
