Looks simple but it isnt.
A hard maple vanity made from maple veneered plywood for the cabinets, hard maple dovetailed drawers on soft close full extension tandem guides with a haunched face frame with 9 piece doors and drawer fronts finished with post cat coloured lacquer and marble counter with undermount sinks
I built two in seven days, finsihed, transported and installed…........not bad eh?
Cheers

roman,
Very clean and yet complex design. Is the face frame routed to give the appearance of a cocks beading? I can’t imagine a seven day build and finish time for two such lovely pieces. I love the toe kick area as well. Wonderful build!

woodbutcher…........I bought a few shaper bits to do bead moulding and this one is 1/4” dia, shaped onto all face frame pieces, the face frames are then mitered (haunched) and joined with blind double dovetails, after the frame is made its joined to the the plywood cabinets via biscuits and the “Kreg” pocket hole jig.
To speed up the job I used a friends “thickness sander” for the doors and drawer fronts and I leave my dovetail jig and router set up.
Painting is also speeded up because its lacquer and by adding more catalyst I can speed the dry time up.
I also have a young man helping me out, he’s smart, he’s gifted, has skill but lacks experience, that said, he is an asset to me so far?
Thank you for the kind words

roman,
Ty for the reply. The beaded face frames really got my attention. It accentuates the doors and drawers nicely. You shouldn’t be able to seperate that face frame with a stick of dynamite the way you joined them-LOL. Thats quality that can’t be seen, but insures the integrity of the work. That is hard to explain to some people, but should be mentioned to them in hopes that they can appreciate the quality workmanship. Congratulations again on an excellent build and design.
Sincerely,
Ken McGinnis
