The Flexcut knives Christmas gift was the prompt, Peter Follensbee the inspiration, a broken coffee stir the commission, and cedar from the yard the medium, mineral oil the finish.
This is a first for me, but the idea has been growing since I subscribed to Follensbee’s blog. This “stir” turned out more scoop-like than it should have, but that just means that I’ll have an excuse to do another.
I used cedar because it was handy and soft, I plan another in cherry. Does anyone know if cedar will lend flavor to a hot drink when used as a stir?
