My step-daughter had made a headboard from cedar and pine stained with black walnut. I wanted to give her this table to match. I used her cedar for the top and trimmed it with black walnut. The sides are from reclaimed cedar fence and the legs are black walnut. I made the top so it would open up and have space to store whatevers.
