Made of Cherry, Hickory & Walnut. Flocked insides. A little gift for our daughter Toni. Mom put a Pearl ring in a drawer, Toni’s birth stone. Made my cuts in the wrong place & couldn’t get them pulled together tight. I’ll learn. I guess I should have made my cuts from the side. Go ahead, scold me. LOL

Dudley, Cute box! A lot of times when I do a bandsaw box, I will cut from the bottom to the first drawer like you did, but then I will go from one drawer to the next. When I glue the back on, I worry more about closing the gag in the cuts then worrying about aligning the outside edge of the back to the box perfectly. I always cut my outside profile last anyway, so it doesn’t matter if the outside edges don’t line up perfectly. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.

Great box. I really want to try one of these.

Considered your self scolded., lol
You have done a better job than someone who has not attempted one.
Bravo Zulu… there is no such thing as a bad bandsaw box. I am sure Toni adores it.
