I have been making turned Christmas ornaments for my family for three years now. This year I made 47 Christmas light bulbs and gave away 41. After I wrapped them all up I remembered I didn’t take a picture of them all so this all I have left. I give them away to all the members of my family, from my 78 year mother to my grand-niece that was just born Christmas Eve and my in-laws. Some are maple and some are birch. After I dyed them red I couldn’t tell the difference. I then put on hand rubbed poly for 7 days for a good shine. Now I have 6 years worth of ornament ideas already set. If I have trouble coming up with an idea or I don’t have much time I can make more light bulbs and dye then orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, or white.
