This my first bowl on my own (I took a one day bowl class and made one that I didn’t finish). It is spalted silver maple that was going to be fire wood. It measures 9” dia. x 4” deep. It is not perfect but with the help of the class I managed to keep it whole unlike my earlier attempts. Thanks for looking. Lou

Hey Lou, Looks like your first bowl turned out great. That spalted silver maple is awsome. Keep them coming.

Lou

Nice job, good design, great selection on the blank. Prepare to be addicted to turning. This is tons of fun. Bob

Loucarb,
Beautiful bowl! I’m curious, was the blank green or dried? Looks like you did an excellent job. Congratulations on your first bowl. Keep on keeping on!

Sincerely,
Ken McGinnis
