My Daughters saw the jewelry box I made for our flower girl when she graduated college, so of coarse they wanted one and daddy has to make it. Holly’s box is walnut and maple with cherry for the inner box. It is the first time I put in a lock, it wasn’t perfect but it works. Dovetails to join the sides and bowties for strength on the lid. I also had to bookmatch the top pic2 because the wood wasn’t wide enough, I really am glad I did, it made it less plain. Thanks for taken a look.

Wow! That is such a nice jewelry box and I’ll bet that your daughter absolutely loves it. Congratulations.

Thanks again Bobsboxes. Broden and helluvawreck thank you also. For someone who still struggles in woodworking it means a lot someone likes your hard work. Thanks for taken a look!

Broden, it’s probably a Stanley but your pic looks like a Sargent 3417. Looks nice whatever it is.
