This is one of my original carved birdhouse. They are real birdhouses and also can be for decoration on porches or in houses.

This is great, I like that you can use it for a decoration or/and a birdhouse.

Glad you like them Diane. I have more on my webpages of commissions I did. It’s been great to carve and fun to do for someone with their own garden themes.

I really like this guy. How do the birds like them? Or are they mainly for art?

Wow…not my cup of tea, but the detailed work is admirable. Thanks!

Sorry in the late reply. Camping this past weekend. Wayne they are used for outside or some put them in porches for decor. Birds do nest in them which just thrills me! My mom had the 2nd house I had made and I tested it out in her backyard. Wasn’t too long before a wren was nesting in it. I love doing differant things to each house. I never really go by a pattern so it’s whatever goes unless it’s a commission. Thanks for looking and nice comments!

a wren – how nice! What size of hole do you use for a wren?
