These Nutcracker Soldiers have been guarding our door during the Christmas season for about 30 years. The material is the plastic impregnated MDF used for outdoor signs. Most of the accents are onlaid.

I have made several more sets for gifts over the years, still working from the original pattern.

It occurred to me today that these were one of my earlier woodworking projects.

Cool!
I made a small troop of these guys about 15 years ago along with a couple of snow men.
Your’s look great!
Merry Christmas!

Very nicely done, and great decorations for the season.
