After I completed the barn wood bookshelf and cabinet in the background I decided it was time to build a coffee table to match. My wife likes it and is now encouraging a set of end tables to match. The table measures 30 by 49 inches. The top is barn wood and the rest of the frame is spruce that has been stained and then distressed.

Lookin good. I don’t think I’ve ever used spruce before. How is it? And what species? Blue? Engelmann? Sitka?
