I am just begining to work with doors. This set of swing doors my husband made for me so I can carve on them. They are now set up at a bar.

Very nice, they look great installed, it’s nice the way you incorporated the knots in the boards as parts of the trees.
THe doors must be the main focal point in that whole bar room now.

Well it was suppose to be with no knots. But hubby started setting it up while I was gone. Totally blew my pattern I had waiting for months! So only way to work around the knots was to add trees. Glad it worked out. Now I make sure I put a note on my boards-wait till I am with you! I just finished carving a valance to go above the door. Now to decided how to finish it up and get it put in place.

Well, thanks for going backwards! Nice to know others do look and thanks for the kind words. I haven’t been able to do any of my projects. Last week I had carpel tunnel surgery on my right hand. Soon as it heals they are doing the left hand. Sure has been a long haul but least one is fixed. Hard for myself to be good but have little things I can do till this is over. Well again thanks!

I’m sorry to hear about your carpal tunnel.
I wish you a rapid recovery.

Very nice carving Krum, love the way you have used the knots in the trees. Can imagine John Wayne
swaggering through these. Great work. Hope the hands are on the mend.
