a good month, no time to work in the shop

Did you make these from a plan or just wing it? I really like the design and the finished product. I have 2 granddaughters that would like for Grandpa to make them a couple of those. And info on the plans or how you made the face sure would be helpful.

outstanding design by “rockler” i followed a script, cost 10 bucks, but for 10 bucks they give you as little as they can, then charge 6 bucks for shipping. The plans were well written and easy to follow, but they print
the cut out patterns on both sides of the paper, duh (cheap).

Bob, I love those little guys and am in the process of building one myself. I wish they had the drawings on seperate sheets so you could cut them out and glue them right on the template material. Anyway, I am making mine out of European beech and staining it w/ a Mission Oak stain. (tried the satin on some scrap and it’s gorgeous). Hope mine turns out as well as yours.
