This is another Christmas present for my wife. I’ve made her so many over the years, I’m running out of ideas. I tried some different things with this project; splines, box joints, curved patterns. I made it with a drawer so she could have things on top of it and still get in it. I flocked the bottom of the drawer and I used a rare earth magnet to hold the drawer inside the box. Funny thing about it is, it was made entirely from scraps of different wood I had lying around the shop. Thanks for looking.

Good looking ‘box’ – it’s refreshing to see a ‘white’ enclosure. Can I guess the top & sides to be maple ?

That is a very beautiful box, love the design. Must have taken you a long time to build with all the inlay work.
