With two days to spare…lol
Some Christmas gifts I have been working on in the ole Frugal Woodshop. I already posted the shotgun shell lamp, wine rack and the M&M dispensers so here are the rest…. 1) A Bradford Pear and Black cherry bed tray table. I salvaged the pear out of a limb that got blown out of our tree last year and the cherry is a firewood rescue. 2) a solid end grain vegetable chopping block salvaged out of a poplar disc we used as a base for my daughter’s wedding cake a couple of years back. The feet are oak and were turned out of a pallet runner. 3) a walnut and a cherry bow bread knife. The cherry also from a stick of firewood and has some awesome figure. Total projecting cost…about forty dollars..not including wine, wine glasses and M&Ms of course. I want to wish all y’all a very merry Christmas and a great new year.

Another fine job/jobs by BusterB! I really, really, like the chopping board. When I read about feet on it I thought that would be uglier than a bag of hammers. I was wrong. The feet look great. You have taught me something new. And to think my wife said I was beyond learning. Hah, I guess that shows her. Well, your gifts look fine, I think you have earned a break. Not too long though, I want to see you crankin’ em out again soon. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Have a great holiday.

L2L- Thank you Lee. I sure hope so or I want my money back…lol

Hoss- that’s buddy. Does that mean I can come work in a real (and new to boot) shop??? If so, count me in sir.

Jeff- thank you my friend. It really didn’t need them but got them anyhow. I thought they looked cool and this way I pad pad the contact points…or not. Might make it slide around too easily…we shall see. Stay warm up yonder sir.

Lookin’ good Dude! Nice gifts all around. That chopping block has been sitting all this time and hasn’t split or cracked? Amazing ! Will be interesting to see if it holds up to the oils or soap & water cleanings.

Is that brass bolts on the bed tray?

Merry Christmas to you and yours
