From a slab of Walnut that was resawn down. I also resawed a plank of white Oak and turned a few legs. The Walnut was for the top, and the aprons. White Oak for the 2”x2” x20” legs. 7/16” Poplar dowels. Legs splay out at ~ 12 degrees. Dowels are 7” up from the floor. Long aprons have a curve or two sawn into them.

Finish is a Blended item, called Witch’s Brew. Recipe is in the blog for this table’s build. There is a coat of Poly Gloss on top of the blend. Boss seems to think this will be either a Night Stand, or a plant stand.

Hope you all like this little table. I was just using up a stack of off-cuts, and leftover boards.

Looks good, my friend. I like the glossy finish.

Looks good. I like the design.

Nice work bandit, cool to watch it come together. Your turned legs and finish look great.

Design and color look good! I think plant stand, but I’m not the boss.

Looks great, Bandit! I’m thinking of it as more of a plant stand. And I like the witches brew finish—very nice!

You get more mileage from less lumber than anyone I know. Good job!

Nice little table, Bandit! The comment about training a big cat to jump from one table to another through a hoop made me chuckle. Thanks for sharing.
