This is a gift for my sister. I got the idea from Rockler. I purchased the peg set from Rockler too. The board and the box are made from Cherry. All the trim was routed and cut from some Maple I had laying around. I finished everything with General Finishes gel urethane. This was my first time using dovetails. I used the Rockler dovetail jig. I learned a lot from this and will apply it to the next one I try. We spent the weekend doing puzzle after puzzle and soon I had the whole family hooked. As a result I think I may have to make a few more of these.

Larry It is a Japanese number puzzle. You have a 9×9 grid. You are given part of the layout in the form of numbers . You must fill in the blanks with the remaining numbers. The trick is You can only place a number in each row, column and square one Time. Check out the Wikipedia site here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sudoku
I am terrible at explaining things via text.
