This box was made for a well knowned woodturner John Wessels for a acorn pendant made out of hippo tooth ,pewter and silver .The box is made out of African blackwood and the lid out of sneezewood from a old fence post

Very elegant box. The woods compliment each other and I like the way you did the lid. That’s some really nice “old fence post” wood you have there. Very nice.

Great box, good craftsmanship. I might just go out and cut down a sneezewood tree.

Outstanding box! Although I have to admit a little knowledge gap. What is “Sneezewood?”

Fantastic box. Great choice of woods and great use of reclaimed fence post.
Keep it up.

I guess the first comment “elegant” pretty well sums up this fantastic little box.
