Very elegant box. The woods compliment each other and I like the way you did the lid. That’s some really nice “old fence post” wood you have there. Very nice.

Great box, good craftsmanship. I might just go out and cut down a sneezewood tree.

Outstanding box! Although I have to admit a little knowledge gap. What is “Sneezewood?”

Fantastic box. Great choice of woods and great use of reclaimed fence post.
Keep it up.

I guess the first comment “elegant” pretty well sums up this fantastic little box.

Thank u all for the comments,Sneezewood is a tree indigenous to southern africa:Ptaeroxylon obliquun,Sneezewood lasts nearly indefinitely in water and makes it ideal for bridge and jetty construction.I,ts a popularwood with stock farmers as they use it for almost indestructable fence posts. It has olso been used as machine bearings often outlasting brass or iron.It contains an aromatic oil with a slight peppery smell causing sneezing when worked.

“Sneezewood from an old fencepost?” Beautiful, Johan. Both your boxes here are stunners. You have fenceposts with more character than we have here.
