Case for Ka-Bar knife presented by Marines

Project by MaxS posted 85 days ago 585 views 4 times favorited 18 comments Add to Favorites Watch

The company I work for worked with the Army and Marines back in 2005/2006 and the Marines, in thanks, presented us with a ceremonial Ka-Bar dagger/knife. I offered to build a display case for the knife as long as the company paid for the materials. Took me 3 months…but it’s still one of my all time favorite projects. Ment a lot to make it. It’s still in our main lobby at the office.

MaxS, That’s one beautiful display case. That would make any Marine proud. Myself, 1967-1971. Great design and great build. Thanks for sharing and welcome to Lumber Jocks.

Nice case for a fitting gift. Good to see pride in the people that keep us free. Without our servicemen we would not be able to enjoy the freedom we have today.

That is absolutely beautiful, great design I don’t believe I’ve seen that style before in a display case.
