So it’s been a while since I’ve posted or been online, mainly because I have had a lot of electrical, plumbing and sheet rock projects, but I did need to make my daughter a platform bed by Christmas, since I did promise her. I used all recycled 60 year old lumber that I pulled out of my basement, old 3/4 tongue and groove paneling. Had I purchased new wood this would have been done in a few days, but since I used all recycled lumber it took about a week and half, that and I still need to go to work every day. The entire bed I designed is held together with only 14 Bolts, everything else fits together like a puzzle and takes about 10 minutes to assemble.hope you like it, my daughter sure does. Sorry if the pictures are not that great since I cracked my camera lens

Very well done. Good to recycle.

-- Mother Nature created it, I just assemble it.

Wow, what a great job! Recycled lumber and only 14 bolts fantastic.

Looks very nice and that old wood sure looks good as “new” wood. Beautiful job on this.
