A bowl in the shape of a star, I made last year.

Made out of bamboo. Which wasn’t ideal, as it’s a very hard material, making it hard to have a perfect fit.

Very fun to figure out the angles, and how to setup the miter, and saw angles.

I like it. This would look good on any table.

I’ll bet this was harder to build than it looks.

And it looks hard to build…......................

Oh yea I like that. I see it is your design as well. The glue up must have really been a pain

It’s all in the angles with this one.
Came out really nice!!!

Great job, that looks really cool. I may try working with Bamboo one day, but as you said very hard wood, I’m usually satisfied with Maple or oak, but Bamboo cert has a great look to it

-- Martin ....always count the number of fingers you have before, and after using the saw.

“Very fun to figure out the angles” I would have laughed away the pain. Very impressed on angle calculations and glue up! Beautiful bowl!
