I have 26 staff that I work with, and it is always difficult to know what to buy them for the holidays. Last year was the second time in eight years that I turned pens for them. I get bored turning Slimline pens that all look the same, so I mix it up. Also, that way each teacher can say they receive a truly unique pen. These were made from burl (can’t remember, but I think it was English Walnut). I tend to seal and wax on most of the wood pens (except when I am making something really special, then I use CA).

Thanks guys. I don’t seem to have enough time to turn – it is so relaxing and fun – need to make more time.
