I decided to post my first spoon after going back and looking at it. I carved it for our 8th anniversary, As a beginner I really felt as if I had created a master piece…..lol. I also put it beside my last spoon to check out the difference between the 1st and the last spoons. After a year and 30 something spoons later its nice to be able to look back and see the progression of our skills.
Thanks for the view

Buddy, in my book, you got atomic sized skills!!!
I wouldn’t have a finger left if I tried to do one of those.
Those are definitely works of art.
Thanks for showing them.

Well it all subjective….......
If you really look there is a difference from then to now, however it seems to me you were a natural from the start. Each piece is beautiful and the first is no less than any of the others. Very cool designs…............

I agree Jim. You are much better now, but even the first one was VERY good. And I know from experience when you carve one so small it’s pretty difficult. So don’t be hard on yourself.
