These are made from a pine 2×4 construction timber. The dark color is spalting but in pine it is called blue stain. The tallest piece is 1 1/2×2. Finish is semi-gloss lacquer. I hollowed them with home made allen wrench tools.

Great tiny projects. Some times those small things are harder then a bigger one you can get into easier.
