Frame I threw together out of scrap wood – oak and mahogany. Finished with one coat of home made tung oil wiping varnish.
This was my first attempt with 45 degree mitre cuts. Did them on the table saw. The cuts didn’t come out too great so I lined them up with my framing square and sanded them down a bit. Came out OK…..not 100% tight. Had to use a bit of wood filler on one corner which you can’t really see. Gluing was a bit of a trick too…..had to make 4 small 90 degree jigs out of wood that held the corners in palce for clamping.

sweet frame they sell a web clamp at any home depot for like $12 or any woodworking store this helps alot i have like three trust me there a life saver even with boxes or u could have used tape too.
