Hi Guys,
lots LJ’s members sent me PM about the rosewood,
likes i said before that for LJ’s who live in USA can get wood from Bibb not from me please,
i am doing this as i feel great being an LJ’s and i like to provide the good wood with reasonable price,
Bibb said $ 9.00/bdf for LJ’s members, but he did not think that the import taxes and handling to his place will cost him more, due to bad economi in the USA, i sent wood to him 300 bdf, and in the end its cost him $ 12.00/bdf but he still sell it to LJ’s $ 9.00/bdf, i dont think this is fair for Bibb, he has been helpfull for us to provide some wood, so if the 300bdf is finished and still some LJ’s want the rosewood, can we give Bibb $ 1.00 for the time he spend ? i still have another 350bdf in Auckland, i can ask my friend there to send it to Denver, Bibb’s place. somehow its better than the price here

don’t worry we will take care of bibbs, it seems like a lot of people like the rosewood, so maybe he can do it again and charge more next time.you never know what will happen the first time.

Just send Mr. Bibb more money via Paypal! I’m sure all his friends will keep him in good standing. I can’t wait to get my rosewood to start making some beautiful canes. Thanks for the post Demi!

I don’t have any issue with paying what is needed….I don’t think any of the other LJ’s would consider making Bibb pick up the difference because of circumstances beyond his control….we do this in construction all the time….and frankly it is just fair and reasonable.
I just wanted to thank you for assisting us in obtaining such exquisite wood….I am looking forward to the projects I will make as soon as it is available.

Thanks for the support guys,
i really want to push down the price from here, but still i have to pay export taxes, etc, and the wood is not mine, i am just the woodworking guy who happenly has comp with its internet connection, and little english but i would do anything to make better life for my ppl here by offering their wood to the world,
somehow our price is bettter than if they have to sell it to some greedy wood businessman or friends of corupt govern here,
and Bibb, sorry that i have to tell what it is, you worked hard for us,
again, thanks lots,

Demi,
Thank you for letting us know. I don’t think anyone here wants to cheat Bibb out of what is owed. It is only proper to pay for what we get. At the FINAL price.
If Bibb will let us know the total I am sure everyone will understand.

You guys are the greatest! During my visit with Bibb, I, asked him several times to let me and the other Lumberjocks know if there was any issue or shortcomings with the financial obligation of the wood.
I told him I/we would make it right with him….sounds like that proves to be a truthful statement

Whatever the cost it will definitely be lower than buying anywhere else. If it wasn’t for you I would not be able to afford it. I look forward to purchasing some from you. You are a god send.

That is so COOL!!!!! I can’t wait to get my hands on this. I’m assuming there will be some more threads on how all the jocks are using it for their projects, complete with tips and tricks… I didn’t get that much, but I am certain I’ll be able to stretch it into a lot of great Christmas presents…
