My wife wanted to buy her Mother a wall calendar for the new kitchen that we put in her house. She searched all over the city but wasn’t able to find one, so she turned to me. It is a pretty simple design; maple frame with 1/2” birch plywood insert. I was going to put a little place to store pens and the sort on the bottom rail but she wanted it left the way it is.

I haven’t decided how to finish it yet…most likely Danish oil!

This is my first post of (hopefully) many to come.

Nice addition to a calendar that post every one tacks to the wall, A great idea to make it into place of prominence.
Looks great, and first time |I have ever seen a calendar frame. Great post for your first post. Post more soon.
