Carved Snake Walking Stick 12-09-2008

I carved these Carved Snake Walking Sticks for Christmas last year.

The snake was carved on twisted stick.

I use acrilic paint to paint the marking, sometimes I use more brown paint, sometimes I use more black.

After, the paint has dried, I apply 3 or 4 coats of polyurthane over the paint.

Sometimes I carve a perosn’s name or initials.

Also, I coat each carved snake with a glow in the dark mixture.
