This was an interesting project done for my church. The kiosk has brochure racks on either side and a glass-enclosed area for weekly announcements. It’s mounted on heavy duty casters to allow it to be moved around. It also has doors providing access to storage in the upper and lower parts of the cabinet.

The sides are made of birch plywood mounted in birch frames that I milled from some rough 4×4 timbers that I purchased. The attached items are made from soft maple. Finish is a General Finishes gel stain.

I had only a rough design before starting and “paid the price” with many false starts and do-overs, but in the end it came out OK.
