This isn’t much of a project but it was so simple and effective, I thought I’d share it!
I always have boxes of screws laying around and I never seem to be able to find the size I’m looking for. So I decided I search on LJ’s for a simple way to store all my boxes of screws without going to too much work and found this simple yet perfect fix by April Wilkerson. So without hesitation I copied it and put it to work. Thanks April for the simple yet great idea :-)

That’s a great idea. I might just have to build one of those too. I like your clamp rack as well.

Two great ideas in one picture! Nice hinged clamp rack, you should post that as a project.

I made one of those to store/organize all my nails for my air nailer. I love it!

I did something very similar years ago to hold the 5 lb boxes. Better than trying to stack one on top of the other.

Thank you to April and to you.
I have room for this and it’ll come in handy.

+3 on the clamp rack as well.

One can’t be too organized, especially when it comes to screws. This looks like it will work well with boxes of 5” sanding discs too.

thanks for posting. I’m about to redo my shop and with limited wall space I’m going to steal you clamp rack idea.

Calisdad, there are many better examples out there than mine, but here is a picture or two that might give you some ideas for your own rack.

Here you can see the magnets I used as latches.

That is a good idea. I always unbox my screws and put them into an organizer like this one. The larger compartments hold a box of screws without issue. I like the clear lid and the ability to lift out the container individually if I’m using a bunch of one or two sizes for a project. I then made a rack to hold those.
